In the last 5 years, the domaine Maurice CHAPUIS has invested in :
· A new pneumatic press that gently extracts the juice from the grapes without any metal contact.
· Enlargement and modernisation of the winery,
· Construction of new cellars,
· Planting of Chardonnay vines in the marl soils which were not well adapted for Pinot Noir
· Installation of an automatic cap-punching mechanism for use during winemaking.
- Installation of a "used water" tank to collect water from machine washing.
· For some time now the Domaine has actively followed an environmental protection plan and is part of the "Rational control" programme, which aims to reduce pesticide use.
